What Is The Capacity For A Wedding At Ravisloe?Ravisloe Country Club can host weddings up to 300 guests.

Is There a Minimum Guest Count?Yes. Due to high demand and the fact that Ravisloe hosts only ONE wedding per day. Ravisloe Weddings does require a minimum of 150 guests for a SATURDAY wedding. Sunday-Friday guest Minimum is 125.

Do I Need To Guarantee A Certain Number of Guests?We do understand that guest count can fluctuate, but we do require a minimum of 150 guests to book a Saturday wedding, 125 guests to book a Friday wedding and 125 guests to book a Sunday wedding.

Do I Need To Be A Member?Ravisloe Country Club is a PUBLIC venue, so anyone can golf or book an event.

What Is Your Pricing?Pricing a wedding can fall into a wide range and is largely determined by the size of your event. Our wedding staff will work with you to customize a package to ensure you receive exactly what you want. Email us for more information on pricing.

What is your Holiday Weekend Pricing?Holiday Weekend pricing (Thursday-Monday) is not discounted and will be priced as a Saturday event.

Do you hold dates?No, the venue is booked on a first come, first served basis.

How do I secure my date?In order to secure your preferred date and space, Ravisloe requires a contract to be signed by Client with an initial deposit of two-thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($2000.00). The required deposit is Non-Refundable and may be used towards the balance of the total final cost of your event or towards any amount owed due to client cancellation as outlined in the contract.

Do You Have Outdoor Facilities?Our ivy-covered courtyard is a beautiful setting for your ceremony as well as for people to step outside throughout the evening. You may even decide to toss your bouquet from our balcony or grab some fresh air at our gazebo.

Are There Hotels In The Area?La Banque Hotel, an 18-room boutique hotel is located just three minutes from Ravisloe and is the perfect spot for the happy couple, bridal party and out of town guests. La Banque is available for room blocks for guests, or wedding parties can reserve the entire hotel for an entirely private event. Their website is labanquehotel.com and phone number, 708.798.6000. In addition to La Banque, there are Hotels both East and West of Ravisloe about 15 mins away.

Is There A Service Charge on Top of the Bill?Yes, There is an 20% service charge that will be applied to food and beverage.

Are There Any Cleaning Fees, Overtime Charges, Insurance-Fees?Ravisloe Country Club reserves the right to charge a damage/cleaning fee if necessary after the wedding. Anything exceeding said event times will incur a fee of $100 per ½ hour and will be billed to client or deducted from initial deposit. Proof of liability insurance may be required.

Can You Provide A List of Venue Policies?Venue policies will all be listed in your event contract.

Do You Allow Outside Alcohol?All alcohol consumed on Ravisloe's premises must be purchased at Ravisloe Country Club. Outside liquor is not permitted.

May I Use My Own Catering Service?Due to licensing and insurance requirements, all food and beverages to be served on RCC property must be supplied and prepared by RCC. No outside food or beverage will be allowed on the premises (with the exception of cakes or sweet tables from commercial bakeries) without permission of RCC. In addition, no remaining food and beverage shall be removed from the premises. At the conclusion of the function, such food and beverage becomes the property of RCC.

Am I allowed to take home leftover food from my event?Unfortunately, no. Health department regulations strictly prohibits food that has been sitting out from leaving the facility with guests. At the conclusion of the function, such food and beverage becomes the property of RCC. All leftover food needs to be disposed of by Ravisloe staff. There will be no exceptions made. This is for everyone's health and safety.

What Are My Vendors Set-Up and Breakdown Time?Any outside vendor such as bands, dj, florists, bakeries, etc. must be fully licensed and insured. All outside vendors contracted should be informed that they have a 4 hour window from start of ceremony or reception, to set up before the event and maximum of 1 hour after conclusion of the wedding to unload, breakdown or gather property. Subject to availability of venue, vendors will have the option to pick up the following day. Anything exceeding said times will incur a fee of $100 per ½ hour and will be billed to client or deducted from initial deposit. All non-wedding events will have one hour prior to event start time to set up and one hour post event to clear out.

Is There A Shuttle Service Available For My Guests?Ravisloe Country Club does not provide shuttle service, but our events staff can work with you to find a reliable service in the Homewood area. Does the venue allow candles?Yes, candles may be used if they are enclosed in proper holders and the flame is protected on all sides. Open flame candles such as candlesticks are not permitted.

Does the venue allow confection decor?Unfortunately, Ravisloe does NOT allow decor items such as confetti, glitter, rice, streamers, fake petals, and poppers.

Do you allow late night snacks?Yes, we do allow late night snacks for weddings at no additional charge. Whether Ravisloe places an order for you, or you bring in your own late night snack vendor. It is important to remember that any vendors brought on premise need to be licensed and insured.

Do we have access to the bridal suite/grooms room?For wedding parties that have both a ceremony and reception at Ravisloe have access to our bridal suite and grooms room 7 hours prior to their wedding until 1 hour after their wedding end time. If additional time is needed please check with us to see if it is possible to have this arranged at an additional fee. Those who are hosting a reception only have access to the bridal suite and groom’s room 3 hours prior to the wedding reception.

Is the Venue handicap friendly?Ravisloe does have handicap access throughout the lower level of our building. We have two main handicap entrances, one on the south end of the building and one on the north end of the building.

Do you offer valet parking?Ravisloe does not offer valet parking at this time.

Do you offer coat check?Ravisloe does not offer coat check service at this time. We will have coat racks available to guests in case of inclement weather.

Is there a back up plan for ceremony in case it rains?Yes, we would utilize our great room for ceremony in case of inclement weather. Instead of cocktail hour being in the back end of the courtyard it would be moved to our ballroom.

How large is your dance floor?Our dancefloor is 20x24.

Am I allowed to hang decor from the chandeliers?Yes. Hanging decor from the chandeliers or beams is allowed under the following conditions: -No tape, glue, nails, tacks or command strips can be used. -Items must come down the same night and within the 1 hour clean up slot allowed. All string/wire must be removed from the chandelier as well.

Am I allow to bring in my own chairs?Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring outside chairs in for your event. We do have standard banquet chairs that we provide and offer chiavari chairs to rent at an additional price of $9 per chair. Chiavari chairs come in 4 different color options (gold, silver, black or clear)

Am I allowed to bring in my own plate chargers?Yes, if you prefer to forego renting our gold or silver chargers, you may bring in your own. You will be responsible for the setup of any items/decor that you bring in to the venue.

What is your job as event manager?Our event managers will attend your final meeting 10 days prior to your wedding to go over all final details of your event (the most important details pertaining to seating arrangement, food service and timeline). They will assist with ceremony rehearsal and ceremony. They will also ensure the room is set properly day of, and also the day stays on the timeline discussed. Our services do not include; placement or storage of personal items, i.e. place cards, menu cards, favors, ceremony items, or wedding personals. Anything that comes from outside of the venue that you would like Ravisloe’s staff to assist with may be coordinated at an additional fee.

Are we allowed to bring in a fog machine/cold sparks?We highly discourage vendors from using fog machines and cold spark machines in our facility. They leave a slippery film on the dance floor which can cause people to fall and hurt themselves.

Are you able to remove the large tables in the hallway?The large 14 foot tables are NOT allowed to be removed from the hallway or moved around in the hallway.

How much is the deposit to secure my date?In order to secure your preferred date and space, Ravisloe requires a contract to be signed by Client with an initial deposit of two-thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($2000.00). The required deposit is Non-Refundable and may be used towards the balance of the total final cost of your event or towards any amount owed due to client cancellation as outlined in the contract.

When do you require deposit and payments for my event?In order to secure your preferred date and space, Ravisloe requires this contract be signed by Client with an initial deposit of Two Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($2,000.00). The required deposit is Non-Refundable and may be used towards the balance of the total final cost of your event or towards any amounts owed due to client cancellation as outlined below. A second deposit equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the total Estimated Cost will be due six (6) months prior to the event date or the date of food and beverage tasting, whichever is earlier. Payment of the remaining balance of the total Estimated Cost is due ten (10) days in advance of the event. For events booked more than one (1) calendar year in advance, the following payment schedule would take effect: In addition to the initial deposit, a second deposit equivalent to thirty-three (33%) of the total Estimated Cost will be due one (1) year prior to the event date. A third deposit equivalent to thirty-three (33%) of the total Estimated Cost will be due six (6) months prior to the event date or the date of food and beverage tasting, whichever is earlier. Payment of the remaining balance of the total Estimated Cost is due ten (10) days in advance of the event.

What are your accepted payment methods?Deposits and payments if made by certified or personal check can be made payable to Ravisloe Banquets, LLC. Accepted forms of payment for the initial deposit include; cash, cashier’s check, money order, personal check, credit card or debit card. All credit card payments and Honeybook Payments will be subject to an additional five percent (5%) charge. Returned personal checks will require a Seventy-Five and 00/100 Dollar ($75.00) fee and will no longer be accepted as a form of payment. Accepted FINAL payment methods are personal check or cashier's check. Any payment made later than ten (10) days prior to the event must be paid by cashier's check. **Deposits and payments must be received by the outlined dates specified in your Project Proposal in order to guarantee the event. A late fee of Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($500.00) will be added to the event each time a payment is not paid within thirty (30) days of the payment schedule. Additionally, if payments are not timely received, Ravisloe reserves the right to cancel the event booking and all deposits previously paid are forfeited and non-refundable. Acceptance of a late payment fee as outlined above shall not waive Ravisloe’s right to cancel the event booking.
